Clin Infect Dis. 2010 Sep 15;51 Suppl 2:S216-9

Authors: Ross Nolet B

Outpatient care, including outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT), is increasingly seen by both clinicians and insurers as a safe, effective, and economical adjunct or alternative to hospitalization.
